Summary/Abstract: One of the problems of modern pedagogy is the declining interest of students to learn and gain knowledge. This is especially noticeable in technical subjects. For this reason it is necessary to find an appropriate mechanism to encourage student motivation so it can be purposefully influenced which will allow teachers to effectively manage the learning process. By using pedagogical and psychological mechanisms for motivation teachers can improve the quality of the learning process as well as its outcomes. This mechanism needs to constantly be improved, however, because modern young people change and technologies develop. The purpose of the present study is to implement an advanced motivational didactic model, including new technologies, techniques and teaching didactic materials in Engineering Graphics in order to increase the quality of student training. The study results on the level of Academic motivation were compared with those from a previous study based on the primary model. The results obtained show that the degree of academic motivation for both groups studied has a very good level of development.
