Summary/Abstract: This material presents the research project, initiated and developed in the field, on the The Târnave Valley, for four months (in the period June - September 2009), by The District Centre for the Conservation and Promotion of the Traditional Culture “Cindrelul-Junii” Sibiu, with the help of the financial authority of The National Culture Fond Administration. The research was set on the analysis of the local customs regarding life (Birth, Wedding, Funeral) and fieldwork, of the traditional holidays, costumes, songs and dances form this area where one can find a rich material and immaterial cultural patrimony.
