Summary/Abstract: In June 2018, the 11th version of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems was published effective as of 2022. This new classification introduced material changes into the classification of sexual dysfunctions to reflect contemporary conceptualisations evolving together with the scientific progress regarding pathogenesis and clinical presentation of sexual disorders. The article discusses changes in the categorisation of female sexual dysfunction in comparison with the previous, the ICD-10 classification as well as a comparison with the latest version of the classification published by American Psychiatric Association (DSM-5, Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) published in 2013.
