Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the similarities and differences in the translation of the verb “sin” in the New Testament of the Bible. It studies two English versions: New Kings James Version and New International Version and two Bulgarian - Orthodox Bible and Bible, 1940 Edition . The main aim of this study is to analyse the function of the verb SIN in the sources used and to compare them.
