Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyse the myths about the End of the World and the way Americans, British and Bulgarians react to it. Apart from that, this research compares the differences and similarities in the language devices used in the articles and their connection with other texts, including which information is made salient and, which is implicitly given.
