UNDERGLASS PAINTING THAT IS ALMOST EXTINCT

Summary/Abstract: Underglass painting, which is a local art, is one of the greatest richness of cultural values among the folk art after the proclamation of the Republic. This art which attracted great attention in the 19th century is not known very much today. Although the artist identities of past samples are unknown because it does not take place in the literature, we aim to be known this art with the presentation of general definition and production techniques in this article.
