Summary/Abstract: The subject of this article is the production of Croatia's future characterised by integral sustainability as a developmental concept and criterion. The concept and criterion of integral sustainability requires and presupposes conscious management, and not merely a spontaneous sequence of events, of social processes and relationship to the natural resources of life. Production is a conscious and planned process. There is sense in using the word "production" in association with the word "future". The word future denotes tomorrow, the tomorrow of a society, and here it denotes primarily the future of the living world, of air, water, earth, survival, the quality of living and people's health. The article is a contribution to reflecting upon the concept / criterion of integral sustainability in the context of Croatian society and the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
