Der Laie und der Wissenschaftler – das Problem der wissenschaflichen Zusammenarbeit. Eine lokale Perspektive, bezüglich der ethno-sozialen Veränderung im Dorf „Poiana” (in der Umgebung von Hermannstadt)

Summary/Abstract: Could the long epistemological distance between the ethnologist and the native be shortened? Jean Lydall and Ivo Stecker seem to answer affirmatively. The specialists of the ASTRA Museum from Sibiu make another step forward, bringing together “natives” possessing high abilities into an Academy of Traditional Arts. However, there is no popular science domain among the departments of this “academy”. This is the reason why I make my contribution to reducing the mentioned epistemological distance, pleading at the same time for the absent domain from the popular forum, by putting the label “popular ethno-sociologist” on one of the natives I met in my Romanian culture field-works.
