Summary/Abstract: The article comments on the circumstances in which the entrance of Romania into the First World War was negotiated. More precisely, it analyzes the various arguments that determined the signing of the 1916 alliance treaty with the Entente, as well as Romania’s military situation.another segment of this research focuses on the significance, the importance, and the practical results of the presence of the French Military Mission in Romania.
