Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to study the problem of time discipline in the periodical press discourse of interwar Belarusian Christian Democracy. This discourse was an important element in shaping of an image of moral community comprising politically, socially and economically active Belarusians. However, not only political but also sociocultural factors to a large extent determined that the eff ect of this discourse on Belarusian village was rather limited. The article proposes a typology of social time which characterizes the attitudes toward time of Belarusian Christian Democracy and other political movements in West Belarus.
