Summary/Abstract: The article deals with issue of Islamic banking, describes its main characteris- tics and conceptions, which derive from holy script of Islam - Quran. The aim of first part of the study is to present information related to the creation of Islamiceconomical system - with emphasis on topics related to the law of Sharia, which denes rules of the whole socio -economic system in Islamic world. The following part of the article describes rules, conceptions and solutions related to functioning of the Islamic finance. third part of the article contains descriptions of the most popular contracts (agreements) used in Islamic nancial system. The aim of the whole article is to present characteristics of contracts, which are a basis and moreover main "tool" of Islamic economical system. Understanding of contracts used in Islamic finance will enable comprehension of functioning of basic banking products available in Islamic financial system.As a result of continuous technological development, information has becomeone of the basic factors of production. +erefore, the right of access to public infor-mation plays an essential role in modern state, an inseparable element of whichis the information society. +e increase in civic awareness is the reason why theindividual recipients of rights in the #elds of education, culture and other aspectsof life, more o<en and more e>ectively assert their implementation. +ey alsosearch for instruments that enable them to control the ful#llment of the dutiesof public institutions and the way the public funds are spend.Public universities, as entities that carry out public tasks, are an important ele-ment of education in a democratic state of law. In their statutory activities tertiaryschools implement the mission of conveying knowledge to all who exhibit sucha need. +e activities of universities are #nanced from the state budget, thus theaccess to information about the application of the principle of legality, reliabilityand usefulness is so important. Transparency of the processes carried out in theseinstitutions has become the starting point in this publication.Public information, as a common good of civilized societies, is a set of rightsbut also responsibilities which rest on the public administration and citizens.Reasonable use of available forms of transparency within public entities’ activi-ties is a challenge in legal and organizational terms, which I will try to show inthis publication. I will present an analysis of issues, based on a conducted sur-vey, established case law and doctrine of ideas, that require close attention fromlegislators and a wide range of actors involved in the problem of access to publicinformation.
