Summary/Abstract: Although the employment of new technologies in higher education has become an obvious reality, yet the application of such technologies is not a simple technical question. On the contrary, only after having explained the essence of modern research-sciences as well as the essence of technology, it becomes understandable why the introduction of new technologies in the educational practice is a question of such exceptional rank which affects the way of the man’s existence in the modern scientific-technical world. In our exposition of the hermeneutic access to the professional information we start from the following presumptions: 1 There is an essential difference between the knowledge which has been stored in books and other written documents, and the knowledge stored in microelectronic computer equipments. That difference should be precisely defined. 2 Let us try and show the essential determinants of the notion Information Retrieval as a rudimental form of the artificial intelligence. Out of the notion artificial intelligence we try to explain the contemporary objectivism as a determined theme in modern philosophy. 3 On base of a determined difference between the actual and the classical storing of knowledge and on base of the described definition of the essence of the Information Retrieval, we try to demonstrate the way in which modern technologies represent a specific harrier to the access to the base phenomena of a person and his natural surrounding live reality. 4 On base of preliminary analyses we try to call the attention of all to the dangers of the non-critical application of high technologies in the educational and research praxis in the same way as we try to shatter non founded illusions on the omnipotent potential of the equipments which imitate human thinking and human conduct.
