Summary/Abstract: This study presents a diachronic contrast of the features specific to the Maramures subdialect, within a frame of about 90 years. We find that most features are preserved, not only at the phonetic level but also at morphological and lexical ones, which demonstrates the conservative nature of this dialectal area.
