Summary/Abstract: Vilma Halász learnt photography as a student of József Pécsi in Budapest. Her brother, Ferenc Halász Jr. began studying painting at the Hungarian College of Fine Arts in 1912. She ran a successful photo studio in the center of Budapest from October 1.
