Summary/Abstract: The article explores the problem of developing the basic principles of expertise of students – future teachers of a foreign language. The authors consider this problem in the context of modern education development, where the main difference lies in the high demands placed on modern teachers. In addition, the article touches on the issues of key skills and the creative and research abilities of the individual, necessary for the training ofstudents’, future teachers, expertise. The performed experiment clearly shows the dynamics of the development of the expertise and the factors that ensure its development.
