Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a volume written by Liliana Anghel in French. It comprises nine articles on Gustave Flaubert’s and Guy de Maupassant’s works, some of them being comparative ones about Realism or Naturalism in their literary creations. To prove the facts discussed in the book, these presentations of the two French authors’ lives and ideas are accompanied by fragments of their works.
