Summary/Abstract: The issue of turning kilometers on odometers in motor vehicles is more than a 20-year problem in both the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic, which until 2015 failed to legislate in the Slovak Republic. Subsequently, in 2015, the Slovak Parliament approved, with effect from 1st March 2016, completely new and in practice effective legal solutions in the fight against mileage of motor vehicles in administrative and legal terms. These legal solutions are analyzed and explained in this expert contribution (or article).
