Summary/Abstract: This study intends to wipe clean 2 Cor 5,3 from the dust of centuries. In the word by word analysis of this sentence, attention is focused especially on the lexeme gymnos, seeking a meaning that is in accordance with the purpose of Paul and that fits the cur-rent literary context and Pauline eschatology.
