Summary/Abstract: Austrian regulation of constitutional accountability has a significant inspirational potential for the Czech Republic, especially due to the complexity of the system and the shared constitutional traditions, which would allow to incorporate at least some of its elements to the Czech Constitution without major interventions into other parts of the constitutional system. The aim of this paper is to introduce the reader to the historical context of today's regulation, to define the basic features of the Austrian model of constitutional accountability, then analyze its application in practice and finally to evaluate the transferability of the selected elements to the constitutional system of the Czech Republic.
