Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the development of legal provisions concerning the squeeze-out and with current procedural aspects of minority shareholders protection (and of their right to receive adequate compensation), taking into account case-law made so far. Despite multitude of minority shareholders affected by squeeze-out, judicial review of the adequacy of the compensation is a legal institute of individual nature and is not a specific instance of class actions. Provisions on class actions (if adopted in the Czech law) should not apply, not even in a subsidiary manner.
