Summary/Abstract: Stability operations play a determining role in a country/region/area marked by war or crisis situations in order to ensure a safe and stable environment, as well as to support the governmental apparatus at the national/regional or local level to provide the basic services of a society. The success of stability and support operations is based on wining the loyalty and support of the local population from the area of responsibility. In order to achieve the purpose of civil-military cooperation are necessary specialized forces well organized and proper dimensioned in accordance with the nature of mission. The CIMIC elements are permanently present in themiddle of the locals to try to find their basic necessities, and in the same time they permanently interact with local authorities and civil organizations in order to eliminate duplication of efforts to support the civil environment
