Summary/Abstract: In this article, we have selected movies and TV series of undoubted success in the US and we have studied if the names of the most beloved protagonists have influenced the choice of the name of the new born. We used the baby names dataset of the statistical software R, which contains all the names of children born in the US from the year 1880 to 2015.
