Summary/Abstract: In this article I wish to recover the history of a forbidden relationship in the world of the gods, whose unhappy ending affects the religious Mesopotamian area. The demonic couple Pazuzu – Lamatshtu projects at the cosmic level the terrestrial crisis of the riche but sterile woman, a crisis which descends back on the humanity to explaining, from the demonology perspective, the disease and the premature death of the children and of the pregnant woman.
