Summary/Abstract: In this work, the author examines three manuscripts representing neumatic notation of the 16th century. The manuscripts in neumatic notation originate from Ukrainian ethnic lands and are analysed retrospectively. The notation of manuscripts named differently znamenna or krukova, in Ukrainian sources has the name kulyzmiana. A Kyivan linear manuscript is analysed with the retrospective method. The explanation of most of the neumatic signs is given and the frequency of their occurrence is analysed. An arranged neumatic vocabulary makes it possible to establish the extent of use of neumatic signs in manuscripts.
