Solidarity of the Facebook generation: street protest - an urban evening sitting?

Summary/Abstract: The month of February 2017 has offered an anthropological study to the Romanian ethnologist: decree no. 13 emitted by the Grindeanu Government on the 13th of January generated a record of street protests in Bucharest but also in the large and medium sized cities throughout the country (in some evenings even in the smaller cities).From an ethnological perspective, contemporary street protest as a formula for unity makes one think about the old village evening sitting, with its inner statuses, actions, activities, rituals, roleplays, and adjacent folklore. The next material represents a succinct parallel between the two types of rural and urban solidarity: the village evening sitting the urban evening sitting - in fact, the street protest of the youth.
