Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with phonetic-phonological features of the speech spoken in Tuzla at the end of 19th century. It has been proved that this speech in this segment does not differ much from the state of speeches in other Bosnian and Hercegovinian speeches. Substitutions and assimilations data, as well as the concept of secondary vowels and shortening of vowels has been set out. Furthermore, some features of consonant system, as well as vocal changes examples, characteristic for this speech and period have been elaborated.
