Preparation for Regional Council of Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church based on the magazine “Sunday Readings”

Summary/Abstract: It is vital to remember our history nowadays, especially the church history. Unfortunately, the beginning of the 20th century in Poland is also connected with the oppression of Orthodox Christians. Difficulty of situation, in which Orthodox Church of Poland found itself in the late twenties-early thirties of the 20th century, gave the basis for taking into account opinion of the Orthodox Society and giving it the right to speak about problems of Polish Orthodox Church on Regional Council of Poland. Due to all these facts the Highest Church Authority of Poland had to listen to the voice of the Orthodox Chtistians during that difficult historical period. Moreover, they had to raise the issue about the meeting of All Polish Regional Council.
