Summary/Abstract: The present study aims to bring to light the living nature of Tradition as a free, creative, itinerant and zenithal conveyance of the sacred, Tradition that (also) manifests itself in modernity through religious / mystical behavior. Even though the modern man tends to become more and more spiritually deprived, in his attempt to find rational solutions to existential problems, the timeless quality of Tradition makes it possible for man to be in permanent complementarity with God. It is within Tradition that the irrational element of faith can truly be kept alive.
