Summary/Abstract: The principal aim of this text is to look at violence and the position it takes in a formation of a semiosphere. Culturally significant events in a recent American history are brought forward to be interpreted in order to discover the underlying ties between signifieds and signifiers. A special place was given to semiotic dimensions of a City and its semioscape.
