Summary/Abstract: Behavioral finance; is a field that has gained considerable importance in recent years, based on the assumptions that investors take into account other variables besides risk and return when making investment decisions, and that the taken decisions are made to satisfy the decision maker rather than maximize utility. Sometimes, investor behaviors arising from psychological and personality, and sometimes social factors in which the individual interacts can have an impact on individual investment decisions. Behavioral finance sheds light on the world of finance science to show how investors should act in financial markets and also how to analyze the investment behavior. In this study, a survey was conducted in order to determine the factors affecting investment decisions of individual investors in Erzincan province. As a result of the study, behavioral trends have been found to have a considerable influence on investment decisions.
