Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the questionable identification of the seat of the Teutonic Order official, described in the sources as „Przewłoki”, located on the eastern borderland of the Teutonic Order’s state. On the basis of the unutilised source, the author identifies the place as Ełk (German: Lyck).
