Summary/Abstract: Crimes against humanity have met and continue to meet a double evolutionary process. On the one hand, doctrine and international instruments have shaped and promoted the concept amidst the international community. On the other hand, the development of relevant jurisprudence by the practice of international criminal courts has provided the necessary tools for the constant improvement of the concept.
