Summary/Abstract: The article describes Polish education in an exolingual context (on the basis of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland). At its beginning, the author refers to mother and other (second or foreign) language teaching contexts (based on the English language and the Polish language) and, in the further course – the data on the number of Polish citizens residing temporarily in other European and overseas countries. The history of Polish education abroad is presented after which an analysis of the names of Polish schools follows.
