Summary/Abstract: The article presents the moments related to the funerals of Metropolitan Nicolae Colan of Transyl- vania as they were reported in the magazines of those times. Telegrams and messages published there showed how people held the Metropolitan in high esteem. The article also referred to his niece Ileana Leuca, who was next to him in the last part of his life, in times of suffering.
