Considerations on Objective Methods for Developing Applied Event Extraction Systems

Summary/Abstract: There are several similarities between designing classic systems and systems for event extraction. Similarities derive from the use of common methodology in designing and developing these systems. The system is intended to be a helpful instrument when looking for pieces of information on different web pages or when in case of a special type of event,information needs to be centralized. Use-case diagrams need to be designed through both methods. The relationships between classes have to be identified and described. Differences induced by the design process are due to the special character of a web based data exchange.
