Summary/Abstract: Political power and human daily life are the themes of the last novel written by Mihai Sin, it was published few days after the author's death. The book focuses on the boundaries between the communist regime and its perfidious and cynical manner to transform people. Even if the action is situated in the post-communist period, the characters seem to be people unable to define their lives, they do not know for sure who they are and what do they have to do. The book turns out to be a mix between fiction and essays on harsh social themes. The author's attitude is sharp and his novel which does not lack aesthetic achievements, points out to be a complex work that provides us a challenging image of post-Decembrist Romanian society.
