Summary/Abstract: This article analyses the fairytale "Jupîn Rănică vulpoiul" and Odobescu's "Historical Scenes" from the perspective of Propp's functions that were applied on multiple fantastic fairytales. We want to prove that the narratologist's theory could be used in analysing a fairytale about animals, but also two historical short stories.
