SPANISH IDIOMS REGARDING GEOGRAPHICAL NAMES

Summary/Abstract: This article aims to present a number of Spanish idioms containing geographical names that allude to the history of Spain or to some funny stories still existing in the collective memory of the people. Studying them and, on the other hand, finding their equivalent in the Romanian language are necessary in order to improve the cultural ability of those who intend to go thoroughly into the study of the Spanish language, taking into account their frequency in the daily speech.
