Summary/Abstract: Being a teacher means the certainty and the anxiety that you have chosen a complex profession, that you will go through a cognitive trail throughout your entire activity, but also that you have the power to give, to live under the sign of high aspirations, to find out solutions that is between art and science, between vocation and knowledge, between rationality and intuition. In this interesting and contradictory 21st Century, didactic activity means for teacher a dimension of knowledge and acquisition of scientific competences, of strict specialty, but also a pedagogical and psychological dimension, through which the young teacher gets in the schools world, managing various activities-of a professional nature, but also of the human nature in general. And in all this, the mentor will be a guide through the labyrinth of the profession, which conveys ideas, experiences, suggestions in a subtle process of initiation towards a possible professional perfection. The initial training, the academic stage of our training, is accomplished through this new professional relationship between the debutant/student and the experienced mentor who will illuminate a path of understanding the profession of active teacher or debutant teacher of the department.
