Palliative care as one of the forms of terminally ill patient care

Summary/Abstract: In this case described aims and tasks of the palliative care. Even though we are in contact with her in Poland for over 30 years still is incorrectly understood. Understanding the situation of the patient and his family lets proper selection the institution meeting their needs. They concentrated on the terminal phase of illness, in which we have for becoming many pathological complaints. Major issues essential for symptom control for patients in terminal phase are presented in the article.
