Summary/Abstract: The article reveals the main literary works which presented the social status of the Romanians and its importance over the daily life. The literature with social status represents a way in which the social history can be understood and described in a more familiar way. We presented the main Romanian authors and their creations as an argument of the idea of the importance of the social structures for the modern and contemporary history.
