Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study accordance with its title is the present policy of financial and tax carried out by the communist government against the Catholic University of Lublin, 1944-1989. The analysis of tax documents clearly indicate that the financial and tax legislation during the communist period was an extremely effective tool for the implementation of the KUL hostile policy of the communist authorities.
