Summary/Abstract: With market development and diversification of products offered, there was the need to find new means of communication, information and influence regarding the buyer. In short, that was how advertisements born and rise. They aim is to arouse, wake up a reaction among customers in every age would they be. The art to engage and captivate the buyer lies in the choice of words suitable and then combining them into memorable statements. The ads can be viewed as a reflection of the era in which they were designed, a barometer of society, its aspirations. We will see a slice of life from Arad, as it appears in advertisements of 1944.
