Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the object of study is the way of combing hair-women's hairstyles in Dardania see due to what extent in this area is followed created fashion in metropolis. Based on monuments carving portraits of women, which stood since the mid of the second century until the end of the third century, although, as in other areas, they are generally brushed by type of hairstyles which have launched the Roman Empress - occasionally stylized and retarded - Dardania is characterized by its specificity for the level of application and types of hairstyles have mastered separately on the main part and the center. First of all territorially there are huge differences in the number of women presented with head covering. Viewed in this light, we can share this area, having four whole territory: on the one hand, the central part (Kosovo) and areal north Naissusit very small number of women with head covering, that has to do with the great conservatism local women, Illyrian, which has remained faithful to its traditions; on the other hand, in districts - areal Scupit in south and Timacum Minusi in northeast border - where women, in addition to the three cases presented with head covering, which can be explained by the influence of neighboring provinces, the division of the Roman civil law - Antoniana Constitution, as well as the presence of non-indigenous element, which in these two centers was more pronounced, and that, besides hairstyles, sometimes is expressed in clothing. In the end we can conclude that the woman in Dardania, despite the preservation of local dress, which has remained traditional in its makeup, combing hair (hairstyles) only considering - with all the features of this area - it has adapted more easily to fashioned metropolis .
