Summary/Abstract: In this article the gender vertical and horizontal segregation in Russian Civil Service is considered. The author uses the statistical and sociological data to analyze gender inequality and it´s reasons in the authorities. Second item of this material is the feminization of Russian Civil Service. The gender proportion seems to be very stable in Russian Civil Service: 70 % women, 30 % men. The main reasons of this process, as author supposes, are gender stereo-types, increasing social functions of the state and the specific social-law status of civil em-ployees.
