Summary/Abstract: In the rich repertoire of Polish Protestant hymnals many songs can be found, more or less explicitly intended for children or adolescents. The presence of such works was largely a result of Luther’s recommendations on religious education through music. The children’s repertoire included primarily prayers for reciting or singing during the day: the Creed, Lord’s Prayer, Decalogue, morning and evening prayers, various meals prayers.
