Summary/Abstract: Although it started many years ago, according to FRONTEX studies, Arabic migration reached a critical level in the year 2015, following the exacerbation of military conflicts in the Middle East and Africa. Although not all illegal Muslim immigrants are terrorists, in most of the cases they prove to be terrorists. While Romania has been bypassed by the massive wave of illegal Muslim immigrants, the frequency with which multiple terrorist acts occur in the area of freedom and movement of EU countries, sometimes questions the opportunity of free movement of Romanian citizens into Countries in Western Europe. In this respect, through this study we propose to analyze the evolution and trends of terrorism in EU countries, in conjunction with the evolution of Arab migration, as well as the risks to which are subjected the citizens of other States, including Romania, in exercising their fundamental rights to freedom and movement in Europe.
