Summary/Abstract: The diversity, problems and/or delays in the implementation of the anti-discrimination legislation in Member States have led to a lack of coherence of the existing Equality Directives and increased the severity of a situation in which citizens are not sufficiently aware of their rights regarding possible solutions in case of discrimination. This article recognizes these issues and discusses the problems that might have caused them, while, at the same time, suggesting possible solutions.
