Summary/Abstract: In 1938, the map of Europe was devided in four kinds of political regimes: communist, fascist, parliamentary and authoritarian. In Romania, which was included in the last category, the year 1938 represented the political triumph of the king Charles II, who changed the constitution, dissolved the political parties and established the National Rennaisance Front. These changes were a part of the European political transformations which will determin the beginning of the second world war.
