Summary/Abstract: The international competitiveness of a country is expressed in the sector of the goods that can be commercialized on two parts: firstly, it is translated in the capacity of the internal economy of producing goods that are sold on the external market, they being preferred by the foreign consumers in the competition with other foreign goods, by affecting the size of the exports; secondly, the competitiveness of the autochthonous products that can be commercialized is translated by being preferred by the internal consumers in front of the imports, by diminishing the size of the total imports. As a conclusion, the degree of international competitiveness can be found in the net export or in the balance of the current account with which it is directly proportional, and then, in the level of the internal production and in the increasing rhythm of an economy, in the level of the internal production and in the occupation degree of the work force.
